Ananth is an experienced corporate and investment banking professional with extensive leadership, risk management, advisory and capital markets experience in a career spanning over 30 years with leading international banks and has now transitioned to a portfolio career.
He is Non-executive Chair at Transunion CIBIL, India's largest Credit Information Bureau and Ecom Express, a technology enabled logistics provider that operates throughout India and has Warburg Pincus, Partners Group and British International Investment as investors. He is also an Independent Director at The Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), a leading Indian hospitality company that manages a global portfolio of hotels, resorts and in-flight catering services.
His portfolio includes Independent Directorship at Axis Asset Management Company, a joint venture with Schroders and one of India's largest asset management companies, and IIFL Home Finance, an affordable housing lender with Abu Dhabi Investment Authority as an investor. He is also an Advisor to Lighthouse Funds, a consumer and healthcare focused private equity firm.
Ananth was previously a Senior Advisor to British International Investment in India (earlier CDC), Independent Director of Active Intelligence, a fintech business in Singapore, and on the LP Advisory Committee of Chiratae Ventures (formerly IDG Ventures) in India.
