A Human-Centered Approach to AI in the Workplace

In August 2023, Forrester Consulting surveyed 1,340 global frontline and office workers and 1,124 decision-makers to understand sentiment around AI and its impact on the employee experience. In this report, Criticaleye Partner Workday reveals key findings from the survey, in relation to the implementation of AI in the workplace.


Key takeaways include:

  • 70 percent of decision-makers say AI will be instrumental to success in HR over the next five years.
  • Employees see the benefits of AI, but also have concerns, with 53 percent thinking AI could put them out of a job.
  • Empowering employees with training is critical. 63 percent of employees say AI can be intimidating due to its complexity, and 61 percent feel like they could benefit from receiving training on how to use AI in the workplace.
