Emma Carroll is senior editor at Criticaleye. She has a decade of experience writing on business and finance topics, with a particular specialism in business performance management.
Prior to joining Criticaleye she worked with CFOs and other finance professionals at ICAEW, hosting roundtables, writing reports and getting to understand the wide remit of senior leaders. She also ran a network for women in finance and launched an online performance management community. Emma qualified as a chartered accountant with PwC in 2000, before working in various business roles at Marks & Spencer and within the film production industry.
Emma holds a bachelor’s degree in Applied Biology from the University of Bath and a master’s degree in Creative and Professional Writing from Roehampton University. In her free time she is working on a novel – a contemporary ghost story that draws on Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein.
