Dylan has spent four years studying at Northumbria University, Newcastle, and has a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing. He then continued his studies there and received an MA in Creative Writing.
Alongside his education, he was Editor-in-Chief for the university’s creative magazine, where he was responsible for a small editorial team that oversaw a range of submissions, including fiction, poetry, art and photography. Furthermore, from 2019, he has volunteered as an Editorial Assistant for InkyLab Publishing, a small independent publisher based in Newcastle. He has read and enthusiastically provided creative feedback on many works by northern authors.
For over five years, Dylan has worked in the food retail industry. He has gained invaluable experience and established many professional relationships across the North East and Essex.
Away from his voluntary activities, Dylan is an avid reader and writer of fiction. He is currently working on a few short stories and the novel he began during his MA degree.
