Neil's career spans 30 years with blue-chip corporate and private equity businesses, covering the retail, leisure and property sectors. He currently serves as a Non-executive Director on the Board of AIM-listed City Pub Group and the ecommerce technology company, StarStock.
 
Neil has experience of pan-European development, operational management and roll out of branded retail and leisure operations, including Warner Village Cinemas and  Hollywood Bowl, plus numerous restaurant and pub concepts.
 
He was COO of Punch Taverns from 2013 to 2016. Other senior roles include, Chief Strategy Officer, Group Property & Development Director and Turnaround Director. His experience at Punch covered £6bn of corporate and asset-based transactions.
 
Neil joined Punch from Time Warner, where he was International Property Director, responsible for the pan-European roll out of their Cinema division. Prior to that, he held a number of Senior Management and divisional Board roles at Bass, including Head of Property and Commercial Development Director.
 
Neil also works as an executive coach and mentor, having studied at Ashridge Business School. His work is focused on senior executives and Board directors, helping them to develop strategic thinking, authentic leadership and building their personal brand. Neil's primary focus is aimed at stakeholder management, developing confidence and impact through improvement in their engagement, communication and leadership style.
 
Neil is a Trustee Director for the Prince of Wales initiative 'Pub is The Hub', which promotes the development of rural services. He volunteers at the charity Teach First as a Business Coach - supporting young teachers with managerial dvelopment programmes. He also is a former Council Member of the British Beer & Pub Association, having sat on panels and committees for both the BBPA and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
 
Neil has a BSc in Urban Estate Management, is a Chartered Surveyor and a Member of the Institute of Arbitrators. He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and has three grown up children. In his spare time, Neil enjoys a very active outdoor life with his dog, golf clubs, motorbikes and his wife’s horses.
