Rachel is currently a Non-executive Director and Chair of the Audit Committee at FTSE 100 constituent Ocado Group, which licences grocery technology. She is also a Non-executive Director and Audit Chair at Marstons, a British hotel and pub operator. 

 

Rachel was formerly the CEO of Ted Baker. In addition to her tenure at Ted Baker, she held CFO roles at Debenhams, Domino's Pizza Group, John Lewis and Sodexo.

 

As a CFO, Rachel directed transformations, turnarounds, and financial restructuring, as well as influenced and led stakeholder management. As CEO of Ted Baker, she led a successful turnaround through a historic inventory overstatement and was instrumental in bringing this challenge to the attention of the company's Board.

 

Along with her current non-executive roles, she was previously a NED at FTSE 250 home furnishings retailer Dunelm and a NED at HCMTS Board from 2014 to 2018. HMCTS Board is an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice.
