Ana is an experienced corporate Board director of publicly traded and private global corporations. She is currently Board Director at NASDAQ-listed global synthetic biotech company Amyris, as well as at two other publicly listed companies; Pembina Pipeline and Carparts.com

She also serves on the Board of privately-held companies Lifespace Communities, Elkay Interior Systems, ELJ (Dominican Republic and Caribbean) and Jelmar brands. Not-for-profit organisations she works with include; Latino Corporate Directors Association, World Sustainability Forum, Fundacao Don Cabral and Women Business Collaborative.

A Brazilian native with over 30 years of experience in global P&L management, technology, business growth and C-Level business advisory in over 25 countries, Ana's expertise lies in helping Boards, CEOs and their teams to identify and execute growth strategies and turnarounds through innovation, acquisitions and new technologies. As a CEO herself, Ana has led a number of global acquisitions, post-merger integrations and execution of accelerated growth strategies.

Ana holds an MBA from Kellogg, a Masters in Economics from Pontificia Universidade do Rio de Janeiro, a Juris Doctor from Universidade do Rio de Janeiro, all summa cum laude. She is fluent in Portuguese, English, Spanish and French and is a frequent speaker in the Global Competitiveness Forum, World Economic Forum and other Global Conferences. She also is a Kellogg and University of Chicago Booth visiting lecturer.

Ana is an avid triathlete, meditator and yoga practitioner. She splits her time between Florida, Illinois and Brazil.
