Kevin has been a Non Executive Director of Ramirent since 2012.
From April 2012 until September 2013 Kevin was Executive Chairman of Travis Perkins Plc's general merchanting division. He is currently a Member of the Board of the UK's Freight Transport Association.
Prior to joining Travis Perkins, Kevin was Chief Executive of Lavendon plc from 2002 until June 2011. Lavendon Group plc is Europe's and the Middle East's leader in the rental of aerial work platforms. Under his leadership the business more than doubled in size and, through a programme of acquisition and consolidation, achieved market leadership positions across the majority of its operating territories.
Kevin has extensive experience of acquisitions and integration, developing international businesses in both a European and emerging markets context, equity fundraising and the practical issues around plc stewardship and corporate governance. Additionally he has almost twenty years experience of cross-border general management roles.
Prior to his time at Lavendon, his career largely emcompassed the international logistics and transport industries, with such companies as Exel Logistics/DHL and FedEx. He has lived and worked abroad in the US, the Netherlands and Germany and speaks a number of European languages as a consequence.
