Thomas brings over three decades of executive leadership experience in global listed and private companies across banking, insurance, pharmaceuticals, chemicals and financial market infrastructure. His career includes senior positions at some of the world’s most complex and highly regulated organisations such as Group Chief Operating Officer & Executive Committee Member, Swiss Re; CEO, Winterthur Insurance Company and CEO, Credit Suisse Financial Services. Now in his plural career, he draws on extensive experience chairing Boards and serving on key committees for international companies. This includes leadership roles at SIX Group, Munich Re, the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce and the Fritz‑Gerber‑Foundation for Highly Talented Young People.
