Peter is the Chair of Kaleidoscopes Group, the name for the Lacy Family Office, having taken over in 2024. Over the last 25 years, Peter has specialised in M&A, growth and innovation and is best known for his work on digital disruption, sustainability, clean energy and the circular economy, having written two best-selling books which have been translated into nine languages, have sold over a million copies and been voted among the top ten business books of the decade.
In his most recent role, Peter was a member of Accenture’s Global Management Committee. He was responsible for helping to rebuild Accenture's Strategy Practice globally, heading growth and strategy and the Europe business.
Peter also became the industry’s first Board-level Chief Responsibility Officer and Global Sustainability Services Lead at Accenture. In this position, he oversaw not just the creation of a core dedicated practice of 6,000, through nine acquisitions, 50 partner hires, eight VC investments and first-of-a-kind partnerships with SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft and Schneider, but also worked to build a training programme and certificate for the whole leadership with MIT.
Peter is focused on the 'triple helix' of markets, business and innovation; sustainability and responsible business; and the power of disruptive technologies applied to complex systems problems that create new lenses and new solutions.
Peter led the world’s largest ever study on the Digital Transformation of Industries for WEF, Accenture, SAP and a group of 200 CEOs from 2012-16. He also led the world's largest CEO study on behalf of three UN Secretary Generals: Kofi Annan, Ban-ki Moon and Antonio Gutierres.
Peter has sat on the Boards of business schools, universities and not-for-profits and has established several charities on technology, new forms of education, sustainable wine and agriculture and the power of sport in shaping future leaders.
He was a Fellow at the University of Oxford for 12 years and has studied at Nottingham, Harvard, Yale and Cambridge as well as attended INSEAD.
Peter speaks English, Spanish, French and bad Mandarin, having lived and worked in London, Shanghai, Brussels and San Jose, Costa Rica. He is most passionate about his family, good wine, good company and his black Labrador, Sky!
