Natalie has developed a portfolio across a diverse range of sectors. She is a non-executive director at Ford Credit Europe, comprising UK & German registered banks offering retail, leasing and wholesale automotive financial products and services to Ford dealers and customers. She is non-executive director at LV=, one of the United Kingdom's largest insurance companies. She is an independent non-executive director for Anglian Water, one of the largest water and wastewater companies in the UK, and Vice Chair of Sport England, a non-profit that invests around £300m each year with the goal of changing lives for the better. She was formerly Chair of Innovate Finance, the membership body representing the UK’s global FinTech community, and Senior Independent Director at Countrywide plc – the UK’s largest B2C combined property group.
Natalie has a career spanning the public and private sectors, across a range of policy, leadership and regulatory roles. She’s a change leader by background, with a track record of leading technology-enabled transformation. Her executive career included a strategy consultancy background at McKinsey & Company, executive team member of HSBC UK, and three CEO roles including at The National Archives, the Financial Ombudsman Service and Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service.
In 2019 Natalie published an independent review into the implications of a cashless society and is currently chairing a programme involving all of the major UK banks to pilot sustainable ways to keep cash viable while it remains needed.
