Elisabeth is an external member of the Bank of England’s Financial Policy Committee (FPC) and an external member of the Bank of England’s FMI (Financial Market Infrastructure) Board.

In December 2022 Elisabeth was appointed as a new Board member of NYSE listed REIT W. P. Carey, Inc.

She has been the Chair of Edinburgh Investment Trust (EIT) plc - a FTSE 250 listed investment trust - since July 2022, having been a non-executive director of EIT since 2019.

She has been an external member of the Audit and Risk Committee of AIIB (Asia Infrastructure Investment Bank) since April 2021 and a member of alstria AG’s Supervisory Board since May 2021.

Previously, she was a member of the Supervisory Board of Aareal Bank AG, the deputy chair of the Risk Committee and a member of the Technology and Innovation Committee from 2015 - 2022.

Elisabeth was a Senior Advisor to the Bank of England’s Prudential Regulation Authority (2015-18). In this role she focused on governance across the UK’s financial services sector.

She was a Non-executive Director of the Board of Korian SA (2017-19), the listed, largest provider of retirement and nursing homes in France and Germany. She was also a member of the Supervisory Board and Audit Committee of TLG Immobilien AG (2014-18), a publicly listed Commercial Real Estate company based in Berlin.

Elisabeth was Global Chief Operating Officer for LaSalle Investment Management (2013-14), having previously worked at Morgan Stanley for over 20 years (1988-2012).

Elisabeth was also a member of Council of the London School of Economics (LSE) and of LSEs Finance and Estates Commitee until August 2023.
