Adam is an experienced global leader and board chair with a distinguished career in technology services and digital transformation. He currently holds high-profile governance roles, serving as the Non-Executive Chair of Ocado Group plc (appointed 2025) and a Non-Executive Director for Visma AS, where he sits on the Audit & Risk and M&A Committees to support the firm’s growth and potential IPO.

Prior to these roles, Adam built a significant portfolio as a Senior Advisor to KKR’s European Private Equity business (2020–2024) and as Chairman of the Board for both Heidrick & Struggles (2019–2025) and SoftwareOne Holding AG (2023–2024). He also served as a Non-Executive Director for SimCorp A/S and spent six years as the Chair of Junior Achievement (JA) Europe, focusing on closing technology and career gaps for young people.

His executive career is headlined by an 11-year tenure as the CEO of Avanade (2008–2019), a Microsoft-Accenture joint venture. As a founding member, he was instrumental in scaling the startup into a global leader with over $3 billion in sales and 35,000 employees across 22 countries. His earlier experience includes senior leadership positions at Microsoft and IBM.

Adam holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London and is a "global citizen" who has lived and worked across Europe and North America. A dedicated mentor, he focuses on helping individuals maximize their potential through a collaborative, structured approach that balances ambition with empathy.
