Mui Hoon is an experienced digital director on the Boards of for-profit and non-profit organisations. Her career spans a variety of technology companies, in areas such as electronic payments, e-commerce, data centres, systems integration and telecommunications. Mui Hoon was previously CEO of SP Telecom, Group CEO of ICONZ-Webvisions and Group CEO of NETS Group.
Currently, Mui Hoon is a Board Member at Singapore Pools, Sistic.com and Singapore Institute of Eye Research (SERI). She is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors' Governing Council, as well as Chair of its Digital Transformation Committee. She was formerly on the Boards of Singapore PowerGrid Pte Ltd, SP Telecommunications and many other private companies.
Mui Hoon is also part of the NTUive Pte Ltd’s Investment Committee for Strategic Research Innovation to evaluate innovative technology ideas. Recently, she co-founded Esseplore, a tech-enabled dining platform, connecting chefs to customers to provide gourmet food.
In 2011, Mui Hoon was conferred the Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award by the Institute of Systems Science, NUS. She is also a Fellow of both the Singapore Institute of Directors and Singapore Computer Society.
