Peter Lo is the former Chief Country Officer of Deutsche Bank, Hong Kong, a position he held since 2002. He was responsible for overseeing the operation and governance of Deutsche Bank's overall franchise in Hong Kong, a regional hub for the Bank with over 1600 employees. Under Peter’s stewardship, the Bank substantially increased in scale in Hong Kong, more than tripling in staff numbers and participated in many of the city’s most significant capital markets transactions.
 
Prior to 2005, Peter was concurrently the Asia Co Head of Global Banking Division, responsible for local corporate coverage in Asia. Before joining Deutsche Bank in 2002, Peter was Managing Director & Head of Corporate Banking at Bank of America Hong Kong. During his 26 years tenure with Bank of America, he held various senior positions including Head of Corporate Banking and roles in credit management for Asia and client coverage in Hong Kong, New York and Toronto.

In addition to his roles in the banking sector, Peter also takes an active role in many professional organisations. His former appointments included: Member of the HKMA Banking Advisory Committee (2016-2018), Member of Financial Services Development Council – Market Development Committee (2013-2018), Member of SFC Real Estate Investment Committee (2013-2018), and Member of the Hong Kong Trade Development Council Financial Services Advisory Committee (2011-2015).

Peter enjoys a wide range of sports, including squash and golf. He is married with two sons. He graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Social Sciences degree.
