Chris joined McBride as CFO in January 2015. And secured the. Role of CEO in June 2020. He is a Chartered Accountant and has more than 20 years' experience working in manufacturing businesses. He was Group Finance Director at API Group between 2008 and 2014. Prior to joining API he worked for Scapa, where he was Finance and IT Director for Europe & Asia. He has also held a number of senior international finance roles at Courtaulds.

McBride has a turnover of approximately £800m and some 5,000 employees. Its business is split approximately 80% household and 20% personal care products. It supplies over 95% of Europe's top 20 retailers, including: Aldi, Auchan, Carrefour, Casino, Edeka, Leclerc, Metro, Rewe, J Sainsbury's, Tesco and Asda/Walmart.

 

It is the number one private label producer of household and personal care in the UK, France, Italy and Poland. McBride has been accepted into the FTSE4Good Index of leading companies which meet globally-recognised corporate responsibility standards.
