Brian is Chair of Bank of Montreal Europe, the pan-European banking entity for the Canadian BMO Financial Group since Brexit. He is also Chair of Booking Holdings Financial Services International Ltd, which forms part of the Booking Holdings Group. NASDAQ-listed Booking Holdings is the world's leading provider of online travel and related services, provided through Booking.com, Kayak, Priceline, Agoda, Rentalcars.com and OpenTable brands.
 
Brian is passionate about stakeholder value creation, using strong strategy implementation frameworks and ensuring measured risks are taken to ensure growth by balancing innovation with business as usual. At the core of this are robust customer engagement models that support sales, marketing and innovation, a supportive environment, flexible organisation structures and platforms that can embrace change.
 
Brian's previous roles include being Chair of Cross Project Finance - a property investment, development and green energy company - and an International Mentor at the King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) in the Middle East.
 
He was also past Chair of the payment technology company - Continuum Commerce - and the pioneering Governance, Risk and Compliance Technology Centre (GRCTC). He was also previously Chair of the Dublin City University Foundation during its expansion phase and was invited by the Government to chair a committee that oversaw a restructuring of public investment in science, technology and innovation.
 
Prior to these roles, Brian was a former Managing Director and Board Director at Citibank Europe.
 
Brian has an MSc in Investment and Treasury (MIT) with Honours and lectured on the programme at DCU. He is married and has two sons.
