A seasoned CIO-turned-entrepreneur, Jagdish has worked in a range of industries, including construction equipment, automotive and railway transportation. Over the last 17 years, he has executed various strategic programmes in CRM, Shared Services, HR, Supply Chain, Manufacturing and M&A.
In his executive career, Jagdish was the International CIO for GE Transportation. He left GE in 2019 after its merger with Wabtec Corporation. Before that, he had a long successful career at Tata Motors, where he was most notably the company’s Chief Information Officer from 2009 until 2017.

He has led enterprise programmes in IT modernisation, mobility, Cloud, employee collaboration and advanced analytics. He actively led the pan-automotive industry EDI initiative and formed the Tata Group CIO Council. Before his CIO role, Jagdish was Head of CRM and DMS from 2002 to 2009. He started his career with Tata Motors as a Business Manager. 
Jagdish has won many industry awards and has featured in the ‘CIO Power List’ and ‘CIO 100’. He has been on the jury of ‘Next100’, ‘Indus SAP Awards’ and ‘IFF Technology Awards’. His transformational work has been featured multiple times in Gartner EXP research, and he is a sought-after speaker on various aspects of digital transformation.
Now developing his portfolio career, Jagdish continues to be an angel investor to various start-ups. He is also a respected advisor and coach to CEOs, CIOs and entrepreneurs.
