Yen Yen became Independent Director of OCBC Bank in May 2020, after being appointed to the Board in January 2020. She has over ten years of independent Board experience in several public companies across Singapore and Europe. She is a Director of Singapore Press Holdings, Barry Callebaut AG, ams OSRAM AG, Jardine Cycle & Carriage Ltd and InCorp Global (non-public).
 
Her executive career spans more than 30 years in senior-level executive positions at various multinational technology and telecom companies. Her last executive role was President for Asia Pacific at Vodafone Group. She was previously Regional Vice President and Managing Director for South Asia Pacific at SAS Institute; Senior Vice President of Applications for Oracle Asia Pacific; and Vice President and Managing Director for Hewlett-Packard Singapore (HP).
 
As a form of giving back to Singapore, Yen Yen volunteers and holds several independent advisory positions where she can effectively contribute to causes close to her heart – for example: STEM education, sports excellence, a vibrant start-up ecosystem and gender diversity. For her contributions and distinguished services to Singapore, Yen Yen was appointed Justice of the Peace in 2018 by the President of the Republic of Singapore.
 
She continues to help promote STEM education as Non-executive Chair of the Singapore Science Centre and a member of the Board of Advisors at the National University of Singapore's School of Computing. Yen Yen plays an active role in Singapore's infocomm industry and mentors early stage start-ups through her own start-up fund, TNF Ventures.
 
Yen Yen has a degree in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore and an Executive MBA degree from the Helsinki School of Economics.
