Chie is currently an independent Director at MINISTOP, a Japan based convenience store, and has previously been a Board Member at Willgroup Inc. (human resource services), where she helped manage in the areas of global management control, finance, organisation development, diversity acceleration and corporate governance. She has also previously been a Board Member at Meiko Network Japan, an education business. She just started as a Board Member of a start-up aiming for listing.
 
Chie has experience operating as a CFO for multinationals in Japan. She has been in senior finance positions for the Japanese branches of Walmart (Seiyu G.K.), Kellogg's, Lenovo, MacDonalds and Proctor & Gamble. She has accumulated various finance experiences, including strategy building, mid-long term financial planning, budget management, investment analysis, cash forecast, accounting, tax and internal control for the Japanese business units and Asia headquarters.
 
Chie also provides consulting and advisory services to help Japanese companies' corporate planning/finance and accounting departments grow sales by improving business control processes and systems and developing FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) professionals. She is passionate about activities that help women managers grow.
