Mike has over 30 years of experience in leading businesses and as a Board Director across the consumer, retail and leisure sectors; spanning public, private equity, family and NFP organisations.
Mike is currently the Chair of The Big Table Group (multiple restaurant brands); Chair of ARC Inspirations (multiple premium bar brands); Chair of The Fore (the leading seed funder for the charity sector in the UK); and Chair of The Mindful Birth Group. Previously, he was Vice Chair of Prostate Cancer UK, Chair of Moto Hospitality Group and Chair of Haulfryn Group. He also served as an NED of TRG Plc and The Consumer Association (Which?).
Mike concluded his executive career as CEO of Spirit Pub Group Plc (from the IPO in 2011 until it's sale at cicra three times the float value in 2015). Prior to that, he led businesses at Punch Taverns, David Lloyd Leisure, Premier Inn, Costa Coffee and Aramark.
Mike is married to Elsa and lives in Hertfordshire. He is an active sportsman, in cycling, running, swimming, golf and tennis. His two passions are Chelsea Football Club and classic sports cars.
