Ron was appointed Senior Independent Director at Genuit Group in March 2014, prior to the company listing on the London Stock Exchange, and was then promoted to Chair in 2015. Genuit is a FTSE 250 company and one of Europe's largest manufacturers of piping systems, water management solutions and energy-efficient ventilation systems.
 
Ron is also NED of Faerch Plast Group, a Danish plastic packaging business backed by private equity firm EQT until July 2017 when it was sold to Advent International.

In 2016, Ron was appointed SID and Chair of the audit committee at Walstead Group, a business backed by Rutland Partners. In the UK, Walstead owns Wyndeham Group and is the UK’s largest magazine and commercial web offset printing group, employing more than 1,000 staff across six business units.
 
Along with his commercial roles, Ron is Chair of the Packaging Federation in the UK, and Chair of the Alliance for European Polymers. He previously served as NED with British Polythene Industries, a FTSE Small Cap polythene products manufacturer.
 
Prior to developing his non-executive career, Ron was Chief Executive of RPC Group from 1989 to 2013. RPC is a FTSE 250 plastic manufacturing company, employing over 24,000 people and with an annual turnover of more than £2.5 billion. Ron created RPC Group by leading an MBO from a division of Reedpack in 1991, and subsequently floated the company on the LSE in 1993.
