




The role of the UK’s SMEs is both under-appreciated and of paramount importance - employing thousands of citizens and contributing over a trillion pounds to the GDP. The Coalition Government’s plans to incentivise the formation of SMEs, however, is encouraging - the implications of this, and the state of the current economy, are explored in this article by Criticaleye, drawing on the thoughts of Dominic Swords, Mark Spelman, Tim Farazmand, Rob Wirszycz, and Gary Browning.
