Diversity: Practice Beyond Theory

• Companies with higher levels of gender diversity and ethnic & cultural diversity in corporate leadership roles were 25 percent more likely to have above-average profitability than companies who weren’t taking their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) efforts as seriously. 
• 95 percent of job adverts posted in the UK and Ireland included masculine-gendered wording.
• More than four-in-ten LGBTQ+ workers have experienced a work-based conflict in the last year. This proportion rises to 55 percent for trans workers (CIPD, 2021).
