Strategy at the Pace of Technology

In a volatile, tech-driven and faster-paced environment, conventional approaches to business strategy no longer suffice. This report by Criticaleye Partner, Accenture, looks into how leadership teams can adjust their approach to create an agile business strategy that is supported and implemented through the use of technology.

Key takeaways include:

  • Almost four in five companies (79 percent) aren’t approaching their strategy using integrating technology in a meaningful way.
  • Accenture’s survey found 67 percent of Senior Technology Leaders agree that a major barrier to integrating technology into business strategy is the lack of tech fluency among their peers in other areas of the business.
  • 75 percent of tech-forward companies report that by having both a tech-fluent CEO and C-suite makes them better at capitalizing on technology to inform strategy development.
