Reinvention in the Age of Generative AI

This report by Criticaleye Advisory Partner Accenture explores the opportunity that Generative AI presents to accelerate all areas of business reinvention, setting out five imperatives of systematic reinvention that can be broadly applied.

Key takeaways include:

  • Between 2019 and 2022, 'reinventors' increased company revenues by 15 percentage points, compared to other survey respondents. This is expected to increase to 37 percentage points by 2026.
  • 98 percent of organisations ranked technology as their primary function for reinventions, with generative AI now seen as one of the main levers for 82% of those organisations.
  • There is a gap in understanding, outside of the CIO, of Generative AI within the C-suite.
  • Senior leaders need to review and invest in the competencies and technology needed to support the reinvention vision throughout all business functions.
