Clive is the former CEO of the Technology wing of Tribal plc, based on a market-leading suite of proprietary software products to the education, learning and training sectors, in the UK and internationally. He is also a Non-executive Director at Eckoh plc.
He has been a Board Advisor to the Royal Mail Group, working on the restructuring of the organisation, a new regulatory position, and on the government taking on the Royal Mail pension deficit.
Previously, he held a number of senior roles for BT, including running Marketing and Development across 170 countries; Group Strategy Director, putting together BT’s Openreach business with Ofcom; Regional Director for London, including a role on the London 2012 Olympic bid team; and company champion for BT’s award-winning Equality & Diversity initiatives. While he was at BT, Clive led some major public sector programmes including a UK study on ICT and Productivity.
He has also been an executive Board Director of Japan Telecom, based in Japan.
Clive is a graduate of Oxford University and a Sloan Fellow of the London Business School. He is a former Chair of London Crimestoppers, and currently a member of the Advisory Boards of the BOA and Shelter.
