Julian is a Relationship Director who supports Criticaleye Members from a variety of industries across a range of issues. By helping them navigate fellow Member connections, participate in key events, contribute to editorial and gain the most from their Criticaleye Board Mentor, Julian ensures Members get the most value (and a little bit more), from their membership. Julian organises and chairs numerous pop-up events, designed to produce high-level critique to a business issue critical to that Member and their organisation and also chairs Aspiring Group CEO Masterclasses.
Prior to Criticaleye, Julian set up four businesses and managed his own high-performing teams. A business school graduate, he started at Fortune 500 company, ADP Inc. As a former PR / Communications consultant, Julian founded Sector PR, merging this into Ogilvy (WPP Group) eight years later. He has worked as a head-hunter, supporting financial and professional services firms recruit senior communications and government relations people. A former client introduced Julian to Criticaleye.
As a Friend of Exeter College, Oxford, Julian has run student career / CV workshops for over 10 years. He was on the Development Board of serious ill children's charity, Over The Wall, established by Hollywood legend, the late Paul Newman. On a Sunday morning Julian can be seen drawing inspiration (if not skill), from playing tennis in Wimbledon.
