COMMUNITY PROFILE

Chris spent 18 years at Accenture in their Financial Services and Technology practices. He became a partner in 2000 and led the UK FS Systems Integration practice as well as leading work at clients such as AXA Life, Zurich Financial Services, Standard Life and Prudential.
 

He joined Tesco in January 2007 and was promoted to run the UK Stores IT team where he was responsible for all service and development activities for stores, distribution centres and head office functions. In 2010 he became the CIO of Tesco.com where he was responsible for all of the Tesco on-line businesses and, specifically, tasked with building a new 'marketplace' for Tesco Direct to compete with Amazon and also rolling out Grocery Home Shopping to countries such as the Czech Republic, Poland and Thailand.

Chris joined Tesco Bank as CIO in May 2012.
