Michael is the General Manager for Criticaleye Asia and has been based in Hong Kong since 2013. He is responsible for Relationship Management, growing the regional membership, event planning and management and has chaired numerous discussion groups, global conference calls and member events in Hong Kong, Singapore and London.
Michael established the Asia Pacific operations in Hong Kong in 2013 and is considered a trusted advisor to many senior leaders in the Criticaleye Community, connecting them globally to solve key strategic business challenges. He works closely with the London team to co-ordinate and organise bespoke member events in the region including the annual retreats.
Michael joined Criticaleye in January 2010 as a Relationship Manager and initially worked with members in AIM listed companies. He then helped to build out the Private Equity membership offering, including launching the first Criticaleye PE Retreat. He looked after relationships with PE-backed CEOs as well as PE houses in the Criticaleye network.
Prior to this, Michael spent several years in search firms within the Energy and Environmental Engineering sectors including assignments for Arup, Buro Happold, AMEC and Mott Macdonald.
Michael started his career in the hospitality industry where he was a Director for a restaurant company, buying, managing and developing venues in the South East of England.
