Martin Balaam is the CEO and Founder of Pimberly, an Enterprise SaaS platform for Product Information Management and Digital Asset Management for manufacturers, brands, distributors and retailers, who have the challenge of managing vast quantities of product data, images, videos and documents. It is now firmly on scale-up mode to targeting $10 million ARR through growth within the UK and launching in the US.
Before joining Pimberly, Martin was the CEO of Jigsaw24, the UK's largest Apple and Adobe Systems Integrator, an investment alongside NorthEdge Capital LLC, where he grew revenues from £45 million to £125 million in five years and successfully exited in 2018, achieving over three times returns.
Martin is also Co-Owner/Director of his family business, Welcome Furniture Ltd, the UK's largest manufacturer of Bedroom furniture for the Retail and Student Accommodation industry based in Caernarfon, Wales. He’s also Non-executive Chair of SimplyVideo, a SaaS start up focussed on connecting VR/XR wearable technology into the global Enterprise and Healthcare industries. Previously, Martin was Non-exec Chair at Koris (managed unified comms) and Numero (enterprise software).
He became a Chartered Accountant with Deloitte, which included a secondment to Johannesburg in South Africa. He holds a BSc Honours degree in Physics from Imperial College and is married with three children.
