This research, conducted at our CEO Retreat, subtitled When Leadership Goes Faster, provides a fascinating insight into the challenges and priorities for CEOs this year.

Key findings from Criticaleye's CEO Research: 

  • 68 percent of CEOs intend to conduct M&A over the next twelve months
  • CEOs now regard customers as their most challenging stakeholders, ahead of shareholders and investors. 
  • 79 percent of CEOs say they need to improve the quality of strategic debate with their Board
  • CEOs identify fostering alignment among senior leaders as their top leadership development focus
  • 40 percent of CEOs say leadership tends to become too short-term and operational when the senior leadership team is more tactical than strategic.
