This report by E.ON explores a number of solutions that are at the heart of solving the issues of climate change and air pollution. These are global concerns but ones where individuals and organisations can make a real difference.

Key points include:

Estimates indicate that long-term exposure to man-made air pollution in the UK has an annual effect equivalent to 28,000-36,000 deaths.
Between 1990 and 2016, emissions fell continuously across the European Economic Area, however more work needs to be done.
Around half of the UK’s electricity demand is still met by fossil fuels.
